Secured Drinking Water Supply for Uddevalla Municipality
For Västvatten AB, Rodoverken has completed an extensive four-phase project, constructing four new drinking water reservoirs to replace outdated ones and to meet future demands arising from urban densification within the municipality. The third reservoir is located on Brattåsberget, Uddevalla, with a shell height of 7 meters and a diameter of 25 meters.

Previous concrete reservoirs have faced issues with wear, leakage, and difficulties in maintaining high water quality. Many sites report difficulties with water sampling and recurring leaks, especially at seals between joints. These structures rely on membranes and seals that are often unreliable, leading to extensive maintenance and costly repairs. By using stainless steel materials, Västvatten has left these challenges behind. The new design eliminates many of the previous problems and simplifies the maintenance of a safe and stable water supply.
