Secured Drinking Water Supply for Uddevalla Municipality

For Västvatten AB, Rodoverken has completed an extensive four-phase project, constructing four new drinking water reservoirs to replace outdated ones and to meet future demands arising from urban densification within the municipality. The second reservoir is located in Åh, Ljungskile, with a shell height of 10 meters and a diameter of 18 meters.

“The flexible design makes it possible to adjust the volumes in line with increasing demand, without compromising water quality.” – Västvatten AB

With a growing municipality and extensive residential developments, greater demands are being placed on the water supply. Västvatten’s stainless steel reservoirs are designed to meet these needs both today and in the future. The flexible design makes it possible to adjust the volumes in line with increasing demand, without compromising water quality. Thus, these reservoirs become a central part of the municipality’s sustainable infrastructure development and a future-proof solution for growth.

The SIM method was used during the execution.
