Who is responsible for your personal data?

Regarding third-party cookies on the website, Rodoverken is only responsible for the data that Rodoverken receives from the respective third party. If and to the extent that third-party cookies collect information used for other purposes, the relevant third party is responsible for such processing.

To express interest or communicate with us via email, it is mandatory to provide us with certain information. The processing under points I) and II) is carried out as it is necessary for Rodoverken’s legitimate interests, which consist of providing the necessary functions on our website and enabling communication with you through our site. Therefore, the legal basis for these processes is legitimate interest.

The processing under points III), IV), V), VI), and VII) is only carried out if you have given prior consent, meaning you have provided your approval.

Transfer of Personal Data

For the purposes stated above, Rodoverken may, in certain cases, transfer your personal data to subcontractors or partners both within and outside the EU/EEA area. Such subcontractors or partners are engaged, for example, to perform technical services for the website or for marketing purposes. Rodoverken always takes appropriate measures, such as entering into so-called data processing agreements, to protect your personal data using suitable technical and organizational safeguards.

How long do we retain your personal data?

Rodoverken does not retain your personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above or as required by law. After that, we will delete your data or anonymize it in such a way that it can no longer be linked to you.

As a general rule, we retain your personal data collected when you express interest in our projects, products, or services for the duration that the relevant project, product, or service is offered by Rodoverken. When you communicate with us via email, we generally keep your personal data for the duration of your ongoing relationship with us and for two years thereafter.

If you have removed your expression of interest, Rodoverken may retain certain personal data for the purpose of re-engaging you as an interested party for twelve (12) months from the date of your removal.

Furthermore, Rodoverken may retain your personal data for a longer period to establish, assert, or defend against legal claims, or if we have a legal obligation to do so.
